Family Youth Alliance

The Family Youth Initiative is a coalition based in Woodstock, VA focused on promoting healthy choices and the prevention of substance misuse among youth in Shenandoah County.

The Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Abuse Coalition will collaborate with community partners to take the lead in identifying and developing effective resources to ensure that the necessary continuum of care for substance abuse and addiction services are available to all members of the community.

A non-profit coalition of agencies, parents, youth and concerned citizens. Our main goal is to promote healthy life choices for the youth and families in Page County. We work to provide a healthy, drug-free environment for those in our community. 

Triumph Over Trauma Northern Shenandoah Valley Resiliency Initiative 

To build a healthy, resilient community aimed at reducing the effect of trauma on children, youth, and families.

Northern Prevention Collaborative

The Northwestern Prevention Collaborative (NPC) covers the Lord Fairfax Planning District, encompassing the City of Winchester and the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren. NPC focuses on education around opioids, marijuana, juuling, and alcohol, with dual goals of preventing young people from misusing drugs and reducing the number of overdose deaths. The Collaborative is a partnership between Page Alliance for Community Action, Family Youth Initiative, Warren Coalition, Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Abuse Coalition, and the Prevention Department of Northwestern Community Services.
